Baseline Climate - Maximum Temperature (July)

Maximum Temperature – July Average
Maximum temperature is derived from the average of daily maxima.

The average maximum temperature for the month of July ranges between 16ºC and 22ºC. The lowest values are in the uplands and the highest values are concentrated in the centre of the region, especially around Leeds, Sheffield and Hull. The coastal margin is slightly cooler than inland areas, due to the cooling effect of gentle onshore breezes during the summer.
