2 Day Heatwaves
The predicted number of 2 day heat waves only rise in the southern and lowland areas of the Yorkshire and Humber region. On average, there will be a 0.3 increase in the number of 2 day heat waves for these locations.

 

2 Day Heatwaves (Tmax > 29°C, Tmin > 15°C)
The average number of consecutive 2 day periods in a calendar year when the daily maximum air temperature is more than 29 °C and the daily minimum air temperature is more than 15 °C.
