Annual Average Projected Change in Maximum Temperature
The whole region sees an increase in the annual average maximum temperature extremes. The average for the region is near to 1.9˚C. South Yorkshire has the greatest increase at 2˚C. The lowest increase in average maximum temperature is along the Humber coastal zone averaging at 1.7˚C. The upland areas of Yorkshire and Humber remain in the middle of these two temperatures holding an increase just above 1.8˚C.
