Annual Average Percentage Change in Wind
There is a projected increase in annual average wind speed to the west of the Yorkshire and Humber study area. This includes the major urban areas of York, Leeds/Bradford and Sheffield and the Yorkshire Dales. This increase averages at 0.5%. The east of the study area records a decrease in the annual average wind speeds. This decrease averages annually at 0.2%.
